Naples Florida Real Estate: COWBOYS 5-0 BY THE HAIR OF THEIR CHINNY CHIN CHIN

COWBOYS 5-0 BY THE HAIR OF THEIR CHINNY CHIN CHIN

Talk about a nail biter!  All the way down to the final two seconds....both times because the Buffalo's coach called a time out after the snap and good field goal was kicked the first time.  For somone who just really got into football within the last year...yes, I resisted for the first 10 years of being married to a Cowboy's fan and then eventually gave in.

It just goes to show you...it ain't over til it's over!  Regardless of how many balls you drop T.O.!

Good job COWBOYS!  You better practice hard this next week.  I don't know if I'm going to be able to stand the gloating from Desiree if you lose to the Pats!

We can be friends, we are friends too bad!  Now go get a kleenex or a puffs or whatever you use to blow your nose and dry your tears cuz that's just how it's gonna be!  :)  You know the 'boys had a little too big of a head going in...that's how it always is when they think they're playing a lay down team.

Gary,  I agree completely!  I do commend them for not giving up.  Had the wasted 2 seconds during that game it would've ended differently!
Posted by Shannon Lefevre, PA (John R. Wood REALTORS Inc.) over 4 years ago

Shannon - That was an amazing finish.  I have been watching NFL games since I was a toddler, and I haven't seen anything quite like it.  I will be saving that one on Tivo for awhile.

By the way, here's one for you AND Desiree:

I guess making it to EIGHT Superbowls and winning five of them (so far) kind of makes you popular, huh?

Shannon, I have to tell you I think it is great that you are blogging in support of your team! I hope you get several calls from Cowboy fans looking for homes!!! all the best, Charles

Jason:  I have been seeing games for the last 10 years but watching them for the last year or so...can you imagine my questions last night?  Can that even be right...is it even possible to catch up...are you serious they have to kick that field goal again...who created that stupid rule...a guy???  It was quite exciting...I'm certainly catching the bug!

Charles:  Thanks!  Silly part is...there aren't too many people from Texas who venture to Naples...In fact only 1,088 homeowners with Texas addresses own property in Collier County.  Texas is notw what we would consider our biggest fan base for sure but we'll take all of them we can get!  Yeehaaaw!

Shannon, as much as I wanted the cowboys to lose, it was a great game. And since Nick Folk is my kicker in fantasy football, I was pulling for him to kick as many as possible.
Posted by Danny Thornton (R & D Management) over 4 years ago
Nick Folk is your fantasy kicker? (you are brave to admit that to someone who already claims themselves as a new fan...sounds kinky to me!) ha!  Thanks for your comments and good luck with that kicker!  If it means that it's ok we win...I'm good with that! :)....gee I got that stupid girl routine down pretty good when I need it right?!!!

Alright Shannon I have to ask. Did you turn it off or change the channel after they missed the two point conversion or did you like a true fan, watch till the bitter end. Ha.

Go Cowboys!!!

Thanks for posting on my blog

Alan,  You know what...I was so impressed with the fact they weren't giving up...I couldn't either...there was absolutely NO slumped shoulders or kicking dirt...nothing....if you go back you will see the expression on every single player's face and it was determination, faith, drive...what idiot could turn that off?
Posted by Shannon Lefevre, PA (John R. Wood REALTORS Inc.) over 4 years ago
I watched until the very end, even though I think my blood pressure shot up two or three times while I was watching it.

SHANNON:  That game was amazing.  I think that I aged a bit at the end.  I wrote one post on it already and have a few other ideas coming soon.  The post that I just wrote (successful rookies) is something that you should enjoy if you're a Cowboys fan.  Talk to you soon.

Shannon - Please tell me your not a cowboys fan? How did ya like the game this past weekend? Patriots 48 Cowboys 24. My Pats exposed those NFC pretenders!

P.S - Can you send me a picture of the keg stand :)

Posted by Bill Gassett Metrowest Massachusetts Real Estate (RE/MAX Executive Realty) over 4 years ago
Bill:  I am a Cowboy's fan.  As far as the game last weekend...it was a tough break but not a surprise.  Now for those NFC pretenders...between your guys and my guys...who's wearing the most Super bowl rings my friend.  Keep in mind...IF you win this year...we'll be tied.  As for the picture of the keg stand...I'd be happy to send one to you.  Can I borrow your camera since you're not allowed to bring yours to your football games anymore???  All in good fun right??? By the way...what happened to those Red Sox last night? Hugs! :)
Posted by Shannon Lefevre, PA (John R. Wood REALTORS Inc.) over 4 years ago
Shannon - Wow - you managed to make your trash talk sweet somehow with all of the smiley faces and hugs.  Great job, fellow Cowboy fan!  I am hoping to see the Cowboys go to their NINTH Superbowl this year, shooting for their SIXTH victory.

JASON:  With everyone on such a high tension level right now, I thought I would try to soften the blow.  :)
Posted by Shannon Lefevre, PA (John R. Wood REALTORS Inc.) over 4 years ago
What high tension level?  Anything specific, or you mean the general malaise affecting our industry?
Posted by Jason Crouch, Broker - Austin Texas Real Estate (512-796-7653) (Austin Texas Homes, LLC) over 4 years ago
I mean the general drama...like that girl who went off on Adam about the "Heidi" picture on his post...huh??? SUDA :)  By the way,  I still see graphics that make me think of you!!!  Probably always will! :)
Posted by Shannon Lefevre, PA (John R. Wood REALTORS Inc.) over 4 years ago
Shannon - You're so nice.  I enjoyed the chance to "respond" to her comment.  SUDA - that made me literally LOL.  My partner has always said that there is no cure for that affliction (DA).
Posted by Jason Crouch, Broker - Austin Texas Real Estate (512-796-7653) (Austin Texas Homes, LLC) over 4 years ago
Shannon - You got me on the camera and the Sox. It does not look like the Sox will even make it out of Cleveland. As far as the camera goes that stuff is so over blown. The talent on this Patriots team is head and shoulders above everyone else. It would take an injury to Brady to derail this superbowl train. Honestly, I hope the cowboys it make so Patrick Creighton can eat his words and we can eat TO'S popcorn again :)
Posted by Bill Gassett Metrowest Massachusetts Real Estate (RE/MAX Executive Realty) over 4 years ago
Bill - What did Patrick Crayton say?  I didn't hear about that.  Honestly, the Patriots are a phenomenal team, and they remind me a lot of the Cowboys when Aikman, Emmitt, and Irvin were playing.  Belichick has done a great job of assembling talent.  I was happy that the Cowboys held in there until late in the game, since it was only Romo's 16th start in the NFL.
Posted by Jason Crouch, Broker - Austin Texas Real Estate (512-796-7653) (Austin Texas Homes, LLC) over 4 years ago

JASON:  I agree with your friend about that affliction thing! :)

BILL:  That's pretty good and yes as far as the camera thing goes...you realize with every great team they have to talk about some wacky stuff...think about how many Cowboy's players were headlining drug issues etc. when they won their last Super Bowl.  Stir it up!!!

JASON:  You are so funny!  I have missed you alot!!!

Jason, I should've put a warning at the bottom of this post that reads:  SMARTY PANTS COMMENTATORS BEWARE...JASON CROUCH WILL BE MONITORING THIS POST AND ALL COMMENTS...IF YOU TRY TO GO AFTER ME OR THE COWBOYS...HE WILL CRUSH YOU!  So let this be fair warning any other brave souls!  Thanks for being my "bloggy guard".  YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Shannon - Just call me Cheerful Jason when I am nice, and Bloggy Guard when you need a heavy to step in and take care of business.  The funny thing is, most of my close friends probably really could do that and I would take it seriously.  You saw what happened last week on Sunday Bloggy Sunday.  I will mop you up if you mess with my peeps!  By the way, good game yesterday, huh?  6-1 looks good to me.

Ok you are on a roll tonight my friend!  I just got done reading Paul's post with the two of you going back and forth.  Pheeeww!!!  Funny!  I did see what happened last week and I'm so glad you had his back.  That was so rediculous!!!  I feel the same way you do...I'd say it's the "don't mess with Texas" thing but I know our other friends have our back too and for the grand finish..."I'm loving it.  McDonalds"

I have been feeling particularly witty today - my wife calls this type of behavior "toxic sleep overdose" when our kids have a lot of energy.  Paul and I have been making each other laugh a LOT lately.

A sub-par fast-food restaurant. Jack-in-the-Box.

toxic sleep overdose...??? Interesting...these little sponsorships you're including at the end a too funny! Let me see if I can get you on a time warp...Time To Make The Donuts.  Dunkin Donuts.
Posted by Shannon Lefevre, PA (John R. Wood REALTORS Inc.) over 4 years ago

You may or may not believe this, but I say "time to make the donuts" ALL the time.  Usually, this is something that my wife and I say when we are super-tired, but we have to get up anyway to take care of one of our kids or do something unpleasant.  Let's do the time warp again!

Where's the Beef?  Wendy's

Oh very nice!  We still use time to make the donuts too...usually when Jerry makes the coffee which he does at night so we don't have to think toohard in the morning...He's so smart!!!  How about a double whammy...blast from your past with a commercial from a cartoon..."Here I come on the run with a burger on a bun and the fries fries fries fries fries...can you name the cartoon????

We also make our coffee at night, because we like it refrigerated with lots of artificial sweetener and cream, like a Frappucino.
